R16 solo is over… time for CREW V CREW TOMMOROW NIGHT. 2AM. LETS GO. IM HYPE. LETS GO SESSION… in a few hours. :3
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full.. The students responded with a unanimous ‘yes.’
The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed..
‘Now,’ said the professor as the laughter subsided, ‘I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things—-your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions—-and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.. The sand is everything else—-the small stuff.
If you put the sand into the jar first,’ he continued, ‘there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Spend time with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and mow the lawn.
Take care of the golf balls first—-the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented. The professor smiled and said, ‘I’m glad you asked.’ The Beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a couple of Beers with a friend.
reblogging all the time
Golf balls. Got it
Indeed. Though there’s much more important and meaningful things that should be done… you can’t forget the small things that would make someone’s day.
Reblogging this again… one of the most important lessons. Especially to take advantage of in college.Remember… know what means the most to you and don’t ever let it go. :)
Funny how i still feel like this sometimes. I thought i got over this feeling but it still lurks around…

This song… does make me think of “home”…
though the definition of home… where do you think is home?
Home for me… is a place with ease, no stress. Just free. Relaxing. As always Fremont is the home for me. Lots of memories, laughs, jokes, happiness, sadness, etc. It’s where I grew up, where everything that i learned and experienced started from.
But to me… home is also when i listen to music. Walking down that path from middle earth to the arc, walking through aldrich park, looking up at the night sky from Turtle rock, getting boba from a Tapioca Express either from Irvine or Newark, etc. Home is just where the heart is… and where the heart is haha… that’s gonna have to be almost everywhere. What do you put your heart into? School, hobby, work, writing, cooking, life. Can be anything.
I can definitely say… I keep home close.
Though i kind of wish there was a way to keep everything closer… sigh. The world can’t be perfect… just gotta work towards nothing being appreciative of the things around me…. and how I became the person I am today.
Funny how things end up happening as my thoughts wrap around what has happened… Me just thinking about the past couple of years and then suddenlly out of nowhere it just bites me back. All good… the path for me to take is already there. Now it just takes time…
Ugh the feels…
Watching Angel Eyes….
reminds me of Missing you…
UGHHHH THE FEELS. WHYYYYYYYYYY
